Refund policy
The Rod Squad will accept any new and unused purchase returned within 14-days of purchase for a refund or exchange (except Special Order Items).
Please note, if you decide to return your item, the original shipping costs for your order or PayPal fees won’t be eligible for a refund.
Any goods returned for credit must be in the original packaging and in a saleable condition, accompanied by the original invoice number & an approved return authorisation number.
Videos, Software, and Copyrighted Materials
Videos, software, and copyrighted materials cannot be returned for refund once they have been opened.
We ask you please choose carefully when purchasing products designated as a clearance item as change of mind returns will not be accepted.
Restocking Fee
Special Order items are non-returnable.
Returned items are subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price.
Return Postage (change of mind)
We can provide a link for capped price return postage with Australia Post if the item meets there size/weight criteria, otherwise we can assist with courier collection (price to be deducted from refund).
Return Postage (warranty)
Should an item be returned for warranty checking, freight will be at the customers expense. This amount can be reimbursed if deemed the item is deemed "warranty" up to the capped price amount with Australia Post (currently $9.15 as at 1st March 2021) any amount over the capped price will not be covered.
